Allister is a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy 3000 hour program. He also has a fitness leadership diploma from Hilltop Academy and has 13 years of experience working as a fitness trainer helping treat a variety of conditions through corrective exercise including but not limited to acute and chronic pain, sports-related injuries, neurological issues, motor vehicle accidents and postural imbalances.
Allister's continuous quest for knowledge in health and wellness as well as his passion for helping people led him to pursue a career in massage therapy to better educate himself and each of his clients. With his extensive knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy, he offers an integrative approach to his treatments that is both proactive and long-term.
Allister's sessions encompass a variety of massage techniques, assessment tools, and personalized treatment plans to assist his patients in achieving optimal health and well-being. He not only utilizes his skills to help alleviate pain and improve overall functional performance but also educates his patients on their condition and the importance of injury prevention. As an athlete who himself has endured injuries, he is cognizant of how crucial it is to take the necessary steps to ensure a healthy lifestyle.
