Dina has always enjoyed collaborating with a variety of people, whether it was during her earlier work in the travel industry, or her later work with non-profit community agencies. Her experiences have shaped her role as a counsellor, allowing her to be non-judgemental, open-minded and ready to meet her clients wherever they are on their life path.
Valuing the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the healing journey, Dina provides a safe and trusting space to explore a client’s unique story and experiences. She uses a person-centred approach which integrates elements from evidence-based therapies such as solution-focused, narrative, cognitive behavioural therapy, and mindfulness. Dina is a warm and authentic counsellor who has supported clients navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and loss. Her sessions are collaborative and holistic, and infused with compassion, humour, and curiosity. Originally from the UK, Dina now calls the North Shore home and embraces being part of this vibrant community. Dina has a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
